Rules of Engagement
When a buyer chooses to evaluate you through Picari, they're trusting us to protect their process. These rules ensure that trust is never broken.
Picari exists because the way software is sold today is backwards. The moment a buyer shows intent, they lose control. They get chased, booked into demos they didn't ask for, and pushed through someone else's process.
We flip that dynamic. Buyers start with what's actually broken, scope what they need in minutes, and choose when, if ever, to engage companies. No cold calls. No inbox ambush. No pressure to "hop on a quick call."
Privacy, control, and signal over spam, so buyers can make confident decisions without the demo treadmill.
The Rules
Every company on Picari agrees to these principles. No exceptions.
Don't Go Around the Platform
If a buyer is evaluating you through Picari, do not cold call, email, or LinkedIn message them directly. They chose this channel for a reason: respect it.
No Pressure Tactics
No "just checking in" follow-ups outside the private review. No adding them to email sequences. The buyer controls the pace.
Communicate Through the Private Review
All conversations happen in our secure private review. This protects the buyer's privacy and gives you a clear record of the evaluation.
Respect the Buyer's Timeline
When they're ready to meet, they'll tell you. When they need more info, they'll ask. Trust the process.
Why This Matters
Companies who bypass Picari and contact buyers directly risk being removed from the platform. More importantly, it breaks the trust that makes buyers want to use Picari in the first place. Protect the ecosystem, and it will reward you with better, more qualified opportunities.
What Happens If Rules Are Broken
First Offense: Warning
We'll reach out to understand what happened and remind you of the rules.
Second Offense: Suspension
Your access to new leads will be paused while we investigate.
Third Offense: Removal
Permanent removal from the Picari network.
Questions about these rules?
We're happy to clarify anything. Our goal is to create a fair, respectful marketplace that works for everyone.
